Merry Chistmas and a Happy NEW year!!

We did go see the lights this year, first week in December.  We went with the YM and YW from our ward.

Ever since Basketball season started my kids have been very "busy"  they practice in the garage as much as they can.  Austin loves that he gets his brothers old jerseys and can be on the same team as them.  You know we truly are building our own B-ball team.  This picture cracks me up!

So I finally hit the 30 week mark and I feel HUGE!!  I hate posting this picture, but here ya go.  This baby is definately growing!

We love the snow and I love that it is snowing today!!  The kids were building a fort, unfortunately it has snowed more since and it is buried.  They'll have to start all over. :)
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday, we wish you the very best!!

The latest

I have to post about this.  Blake went to 2 retirement homes today to perform with his "Spectropia" chimes group and loved it!  This morning before he went he was asking me what retirement and nursing homes were.  He was excited to get out of doing schoolwork all day.  Anyway, when he got home from school he had a big smile on his face and this is what he told me, "The retired people are good at bowling on the wiI Mom!"  Blake said both places they went to had bowling on wii, so much for Bingo, now we have the wii to look forward to when we get older!!  He told me that "they were good and quick for being really old!"  He cracked me up because of how surprised he was.  I must've made it sound like they were "really" old, which makes me wonder what I said exactly.....
Parker had his Basketball game on Saturday and made three baskets got a couple assists and great rebounds.  Every day all three of my boys put on their Basketball jerseys and play basketball.  I wish walls were indestructable, unfortunately for my house, they are not.
Austin still thinks the baby can hear him better if he yells into my mouth!
These boys of mine are great!  I love them!
On a bittersweet note, I was released from Young Womens on Sunday, I will miss the girls and leaders.  I am wondering what calling is in store for me next......what do you give a pregnant women with a husband in Bishopric to do, hmmmm?? I love serving and it'll be interesting to see what comes my way, I'll keep ya posted.  In the meantime I'M FREE!!!  HA Ha ha
P.S. Sorry no pics, I'll post some next time, I have tons, I'm just too lazy to walk into the kitchen and get my camera....the honest brutal truth!!  :)

Parker's First

Parker had his first Basketball game on Saturday.  Parker was so excited ALL day, waiting for his game.  He played VERY well of course and had a great time, can't wait until next weekend!

Now I have to confess....Most of you know that I do not like chocolate...........Well I found a treat that I truly enjoy, infact, my mouth is watering right now because I am thinking about it.  Has anyone had V chocolates Pretzels......OOh they are HEAVEN, it's a pretzels smothered in carmel and covered in milk chocolate and sprinkled with a little salt on top, can I just say YUM!!  Well yesterday I found the V chocolates kiosk in the mall and ran over to it :)  Guess what they had, another HUGE weakness of mine..a carmel covered apple smothered in white chocolate--Needless to say I bought one and shared it with my family last night for our FHE treat and can I just say I AM IN HEAVEN!! Ha ha I love V chocolates--so funny I know, but have you seen my expanding waistline----ha haha!  :)

I got the call.........

Yesterday I got the call that all mothers fear.  The school called me in the afternoon and said, "There has been an accident involving your student at recess and we need you to come and take a look at your son, he may need stitches."  Poor Blake collided with another 5th grader while playing Football at recess and the other kids teeth went into the back of Blake's head.  This kid had lost the other teeth that surround the two front teeth so they easily sliced the back of Blake's head right open.  After the bleeding all over, they cleaned him up and called me.  I raced up there and took him to the doctors.  He had a wide wound and the doctor had to stitch closed the gaping wound and pull his head together, surprisingly enough, he only needed three stitches, I can't believe that was all that is holding his head together again, but once the first stitch was in, the doctor was able to pull his scalp back together.

Here is a picture of his stitches when it was all over with.
Luckily it was just stitches and not a broken bone or something worse!  All is well and Blake was a tough kid.  He was happy to go to school today and show off his war wound to his concerned friends and discuss all the bloody details.  Boys are so gross!

Whirlwind Adventure! and a seriously long post

Wow what a day to end a crazy week!  Parker started with a yucky stomach bug, which passed on to Austin, which passed on to Ryan, which passed on to Blake, and finally me :(.  I don't know how Ry got it, he was out of town most of the week, poor guy.  I had a week full of cleaning up bedding, middle of the night cleaning up, scrubbing toilets, following the brat diet, football practice, school, and homework, I washed my hands more than ever trying to escape getting sick, but to no avail.  Well to get to my day yesterday.  I was  sick and new that Ry and I had an early morning meeting on Sunday with the Stake President, so I stayed in Saturday night and watched the Relief Society Broadcast and went to bed.  I din't sleep all night, I WAS REALLY SICK.  I drug myself out of bed in the morning and attempted to get ready.  Ryan had to steady me on his arm as we walked into the Stake Center.  In the middle of meeting with the Presidency, I had to excuse myself to go throw up, I barely made it to the garbage can in the hall.  We left and boy did I look green!  Ry had a bunch of meetings so I came home to my kids who took good care of me, I then sat on the edge of my bed and helped my kids get dressed for the Primary Program.  Ry came home and fed them lunch, love him! and took them to church, my in laws were coming to watch the program and also be there for Ryan and his new calling.  (I should mention that Ry and I had to miss my Brother blessing our sweet new nephew, because of the Primary Program and Ryan being put in a new Bishopric(he is now the 1st counselor instead of the 2nd in case you wondered), so my family was all down in Provo for the blessing.)  I drug myself over to the church, I started feeling a little better, to see my kids in the program.  We started singing the opening hymn  a new wave hit me, this time I broke out in a cold sweat and was weaker than ever.  I stayed and sustained the new bishopric and went straight to the bathroom, as I was sitting in the bathroom, I knew I needed to go home and lay down and wished I had magical powers to get me in bed! :) So silly I know, I willed my body to move, went back got my keys, asked my sweet inlaws to bring my kids home and somehow mananged to get home.  I knew I was in trouble, so I called my doctor.  He was worried because I lost so many fluids and couldn't keep any down and my back was killing me, he didn't want me to start contracting, so he told me to get to the hospital and start some IV's.  I hung up with him and thought, "How in the world am I going to get to the hospital, my family in Provo, My sweet husband in sacrament meeting, and my nieghbors all in sacrament meeting too, so I drug myself to the car and drove myself to the hospital, checked in and received two BLESSED bags of IV fluid!!  YAY, they gave me anti-nausea medicine, some fever reducer and some TLC.  I called and left a message on Ryan's phone telling him where I was and totally freaked him out :)  Well all worked out, I'm feeling alot better now and I am so grateful for everyone calling last night getting mad that I didn't have them drive me to the hospital, thanks everyone for being so willing, you know me, I can't do anything "normal"  Love ya all!  AND PHEW all is well, wonder what this week will bring! :)
I just got a call from the school and Blake isn't breathing well, so I am going to drag myself up there now to get him some medicine, seriously what next!

Sports City!!

Blake's Football team is UNDEFEATED!!  He is looking forward to playing this weekend, here is part of his team coming off the field, Blake is in the lead.  It is amazing how "Official" football is at this age.  Blake plays very well, Way to go Blake!!

Ryan just got back from the Giants game in San Fransisco and a wonderful game of golf in San Fran also, he's loving it!  Here's a pic of the view from his box and him in front of "Willie Mays" statue.

My life is one big "game" with these cuties, but I love it!  I just signed Austin up for a sports class in the mornings, before he goes to Preschool.  He absolutely loves it!   We are just gearing up to sign up for Basketball, Parker and Blake will both be playing this year.
There is not one sport that my boys don't play, they are very full of life, and you can bet our family has some kind of game to get to EVERY weekend!  I feel like our house is "Sports City"...

Here is Blake's 1st day of school picture, I realized that I posted the other kids and not his, don't wanna leave anyone out!
I LOVE MY BOYS!!

Bizarre!! :)

Austin started school taday!  It is so Bazaar!  He was so excited and has been asking me every day when it is time for Preschool.  Well it finally came!  AND...he loved every minute of it!
I went to the mall and perused and shopped for a while, while he was at Preschool.  It is so weird and so nice to go into a dressing room ALL BY MYSELF!  I loved shopping for maternity clothes and other stuff, it was great...should I feel guilty that I am looking forward to the few hours a day when I have NO children, and I'm by myself, atleast until the baby comes?  Well I don't!!  I can't wait to see what I get to do tommorow, by myself!!

End of August ALREADY??????

Thanks to everyone for the fun comments on the new baby that is coming, you all made me smile and helped me feel a little better even!
I can't believe it's the end of August, atleast time seems to be flying by. Things have been CrAzY around here......we had a wonderful time at Lagoon a couple weeks back, I of course didn't ride any rides :) Another fun time was telling the family our exciting news about the baby! We also went on a little vacay up to Island Park with some of our great friends and had a fabulous time fishing, tubing down the river, riding, etc..
This is Blake riding the motorcycle in front of the cabinWe went to visit Mesa Falls and took advantage of a family photo op :)
Parker and Austin riding the 3 wheelerParker on his 1st day of school-2ND Grade believe it or not!! He loves his new school. Yesterday when I was walking my little group into the school a frog went hopping by on the sidewalk.....A FROG!!! Needless to say all the boys in my carpool LOVE the frogs :) I wonder if any find their way into the school...
This picture was taken before the ride started at Lagoon, notice how happy Austin seems, we should've taken a picture of him after the "Dinosaur Drop" ride, he did not like it, too much tummy ticklin!

Blake started football season and has practice EVERY day and games every weekend, he loves it

And on top of everything, I just cannot believe the kids are back in school already. Blake started 5th grade.......FIFTH GRADE!! I am in shock and cannot believe how big my boys are. We are now gearing up for Austin to start preschool here in a week and so begins....no kids at home, for awhile that is :)

We had a BLAST at Lake Powell this past week. The water was warm and the Lake was just beautiful! We spent a few days in Arizona and it felt like PARADISE! The kids loved throwing the football at all the lizards on the cliff walls and dubbed it "Lizard ball" . We fished, cliff jumped, wakeboarded, swam, explored the lake, found lizards, etc.... It was so much fun it is so hard to be home.

This week the boys have had swimming lessons, I attached some photos at the end of the slideshow, can't wait until our next trip...we are ENJOYING summer!!

Austin is the #2 that is crouched down- he's ready!!
Blake hitting Homerun Parker!

Blake, Paker, and Austin got to go play a baseball game with the Raptors on Wednesday night. It was a lot of fun and afterward we got to watch the "official" Raptors game. The Raptors won 19-2!!

My boys! :)
They loved playing with the "pros". I didn't have a very good angle for these pics, but this is Parker hitting. Go Parker, he such a great player!Austin hitting- he nailed it too! Not bad for a 4 year old :)

And Blake knocked it far out- everyone cheered! Of course I didn't get that one in this picture.

They had tons of fun. It was VERY hot!
We took Austin out for some "birthday" dessert on his birthday.

Here is the trio mini golfing on Austin's Birthday

My baby is 4 YEARS OLD!!

It's official, I am now an "old" mom....my baby is FOUR!!!
Rewind...........................here he is all cute and cuddly when he turned one :)Yesterday we had a little celebration with the grandparents, sorry all the cousins were all sick :(
I love my Austin! Congrats little man on such a HUGE milestone, wow 4 years can catch up with you quite quickly!!
We have had quite a weekend with the 4th of July, we had a trip planned but had to cancel because Ry got sick, but all were better and able to go to the local parade and the annual fireworks in the culdesac, better than the trip anyway, we'll go later :).
Here are some of the highlights.............Parade--Yeah!
My "BFF" that lived next door to me growing up, love ya Beeker!! HEE HEE :)
The "annual" culdesac BBQ &fireworks-the show gets better and better every year!! This was the grand finale! :) After we finished our fireworks we watched Laytons fireworks and could see some of Kaysville's without leaving the culdesac!! You are all welcome to come any year :)
Austin thinks the fireworks are for him :)
Blake just finished up his 3rd ball camp this summer-now on to swimming lessons.
Parker lost another tooth, I told him at this rate he won't have any teeth left :) Luckily his 1st permanent tooth is almost all the way in.

I love the summer! Fun that all my kids celebrate their birthdays during the summer too! Today Austin got to go swimming and open and play with his presents and go mini golfing, and he still wants to go bowling. Hope you had a fun day buddy! Happy Birthday Austin!

Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake last week and had a great time- swimming, digging in the sand, eating, zoomin around on the waverunners and more swimming ...above are some pics. We also went and toured Minnetonka Cave. I now know what it is like to be in total darkness, when I waved my hand in front of my face, I couldn't see anything, it was an interesting experience. :) Hope you're all having a great summer!!
Here is the "fam" just outside the cave, the mosquitos were a NIGHTMARE!This was taken inside the cave, it was FREEZING cold! Aren't my kids just the cutest! :)
We stayed at the most amazing place while we were there!! It had 4 bathrooms! It was perfect and VERY nice, We'll be back!!!
