Back to School

How Pathetic are these kids of mine trying to be sad :)

Park was excited to go back to school, Austin had no idea what having Blake and Park in school would entale, and Blake was truly sad.

GO #27!! Blake made some awesome plays, I had to hold myself down and have some composure so I didn't embarass him :) but he totally stuck it to the opposing team, he is amazing!! Amy and Lisa will have to teach me a casual way to cheer him on :)

We rode the kiddie rides first -Blake was really patient too-I know he wanted to go ride wicked. Austin and I waited in line for the new kiddie water ride and he took this picture of us. Austin is a manaic-HE LOVES THE RIDES!!

We finally made it to the bigger rides, Blake rode the rocket with Aunt Angie, thanks Ang, I was too chicken. Parker, Blake, Ryan, Aunt Angie and kids rode Wicked-WOW! I am totally chicken. I love the white roller coaster and Jet Star and was completely satisfied with those-we stayed until closing time, even then we were dragging our kids out of the park. Parker and Blake's favorite ride was Wicked and Austin loved them all!

Needless to say my kids are die hard amusement park goers! we had a blast!

"C" is for Cookie!!

"Superman" Austin helped me make cookies today-he was crackin' me up! When I cracked the eggs he said "Ew, I don't like that!" and when I poured in the chocolate chips he cheered for joy. Lucky for him, his mom doesn't like chocolate, so he got all the leftover choc chips I don't want in the cookies :). When we put the cookies in the oven he just sat and stared at them and kept asking me if he could have one, after what seemed like an eternity, he finally got one!!

Happy Birthday 8-8-08 !!

Happy Birthday Park! 8-8-08 :) We went to the zoo, in the rain, but still had lots of fun! After we had the ponchos on and umbrellas situated, it stopped raining-OF COURSE!

After we went & ate at Wendy's and saw the animal side in our kids when they got their frosties-

The kids were spilling everywhere, Erin and I spent most of our time wiping up spills and kids-it was hilarious! (Erin did we even eat?)

Afterward we had a fun party and watched the opening ceremony for the Summer Olympics.

Big Rock Candy Mountain

We had sooo much fun!! We went to the cabin and 4 wheeled our hearts out!! The fishing hole was mossed over so we didn't fish this time.

Garrison loved riding in the mini van (his choice we love you Garrison)-which Austin totally loved! He zonked out with the headphones on :).

We drove all over in the 4 wheelers, the Ranger, and motorcycles. Bryan found wild raspberries on the trail on our way up the mountain and we all enjoyed them. We traveled all over, we went up one trail for miles and had to turn around the kids were tired, who knows how much longer it would go.The guys also got tired too :)

Blake rode a motorcycle for the first time-Austin and "Wiv" were crazy little demons on the 3 wheeler. Parker is a a natural-he LOVES 4 wheelin. I like the trails ok- I get really nervous on the steep hills, as everyone saw! :)

We played fun games at night-I declared Erin the game MVP, luckily she was on my team (girls against boys)! We also played the candy bar game (tradition) with the kids. I tried to Kodak enough pics.
