My Favorite Event in 2008!

What a wOnDeRfUl year this has been! I had many, many good times!

My favorite event of 2008 was having the ENTIRE family together for Christmas!

Thanks Brian for bringing your family back home for the holidays!

Snow much FUN!

We're loving the snow!! (Sorry Scott, I know you have to clear it)

Our yearly ADVENTURE!!!!!

Every year for the past five or so years, we have been tubing at Soldier Hollow, it's Ryan's work party. IT IS A BLAST!! Here are the pictures from this year.

The drive up was very simple (it hadn't started snowing yet.)

When we arrived, before going up, in the lodge.

Picking out a tube- "just right!"

Riding UP on the tow rope-you sit in your tube and it pulls you to the top!

Then down ya come!!

FUN-We went down SEVERAL times and then went in the lodge for hot chocolate and pizza! All tuckered out we packed up the gear and headed down the mountain,

THEN THE SNOW!

A truck that rolled on it's side :( We also saw a semi that had slid and was facing the wrong way WHITEOUT!
Needless to say it took FOREVER to get home, but we enjoyed every minute and had a wonderful time!! We love the snow!

LET IT SNOW!!!!!!!

YAY!!! SNOW! My kids played, and played, and played some more!! I'm so glad we have some snow FINALLY!! Austin discovered Snowballs and threw them at anyone who walked by..little maniac!

'Tis the Season . . . .

. . .to be BUSY!! This is an exciting time at our house, as I'm sure yours too! I think I have visited every store possible to get all items purchased! As Erin F. would say "crazy times!" We did give our children the opportunity to give a little more this year and donate to those who are needing it this year, and I can say it was a very touching experience, one that has increased the spirit of Christmas at our house this season! I am grateful for your great friendships and want to wish you A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

fUnNy Story!

Parker needed to take a baby story and a baby picture of himself for show and tell today. Yesterday we(Blake, Park, Austin, and I) were going through his scrapbok and talking about him when he was little and how cute he was as a baby. To make a long story shorter, the one he chose was when he climbed in the bath tub fully clothed! He just couldn't wait, he loved the bath, THIS is the pic of Park ....anyway

last night I went to a YW meeting and Ryan was in charge. He bathed Austin and then got him in his PJ's and while Park was taking a bath Austin ran and got in, fully clothed, he thought he would do what big brother did!! :) So when I got home Ry told me what happened, I laughed and told him about what we discussed earlier in the day, poor Ry, not really!

So, I learned.....

Be careful about what you talk about in front of your kids!!! or do it like I did, and make sure your husband is watching them!! :)
