End of yet another chapter

(For some reason I can't put my pictures in the order I want to, so sorry for the disorder in this post)
We have had so much fun this past week and weekend, here are some of the highlights.........
Austin has mastered the "big" bike and wants to ride ALL OF THE TIME! He Is A LItLle Nut on wheels-so be cautious whenever you come near my house, he may be out there! Anyway, Austee and I rode our bikes over to watch Park and Blake practice hitting.... Ry was throwing some fast balls, we had fun!
Little instruction from Dad :)

Homerun Parker!
Blake had his graduation ceremony today and recieved his 2nd Academic Award. He is such a smart kid, I'm so proud of him, he was a great Governor and he achieved so much this past year, I can hardly believe it is almost over! This is his Teacher- I just love her-she is AMAZING!!!! If you could make a teacher mold of her and duplicate her, students would be smarter and great achievers, and the world would be abetter place! I can't say enough good about her-She is truly inspiring!! When they returned to the classroom after the graduation ceremony, I made her pose with Blake.

We went and saw Night at the Museum 2- the kids LOVE POPCORN!!

My Biker Boy in action :)

Blake got in on the action on the Motorcycle this weekend, love the culdesac!
Parker started his baseball season and is doing AWESOME--Go Astros!

He also had his "Spring Sing" School Program, the kids are so cute at this age!! Parker is my singer! He sang so well, he makes Grandpa (and all of us) proud!!

I have my last field trip next week and will tie up this year and thus comes another end to a chapter in our lives. I would like to say that I am looking forward for school to get out (YAY), but I will miss Blake's teacher and the journeys, lit circles, publishing, and field trips, she taught me (and Blake) so much!! Parker will begin a new journey as he says goodbye to his school friends to travel to a new school where he will meet new friends. And so it is the end of this chapter and the beginning of another.

Olympics-Blake won SILVER!!

Olmpics- 4th, 5th, 6th graders in the academic program compete every year in sport activities. Opening Ceremonies started bright and early. They play olympic music march in with their flags and each team does a team cheer. The announcer and music play through the speakers and the announcer was so professional. It was fun to hear Blake's name announced when we were sitting in the stands or standing on the football field....so official!! Blake was on the green team. They catapulted Blake in a human sling shot for their presentation-The green team did the best, by far! :)

Here's some of Blake's best buddies--They are such characters! They call Blake "Mini" and he LOVES it!

Blake competed in the football throw, Basketball toss, 100 meter, 200 meter, soccer, baseball, volleyball, and other fun competitions. He ran hard on the 100 meter and he tied for 1st.Austin liked watching the games. He loved when one of the kids played the National Anthem on the trumpet. He was a good little spectator.
They compete all day and at the end of the day they have an award ceremony and popsicles. It is so much fun every year. In the afternoon I helped with the soccer tournament and didn't get any more pictures. Sorry, but it was crazy, i was a refferee. I wish I had some pictures, the kids take this really seriously and get very competitive, not everyone medals. You woulda laughed at me reffin' ha ha :) Anyway, Blake's team won silver!!! Last year Blake won a bronze and gold medal, so he is sooooo happy to have a complete set!

Giants, Astros, and Nuggets...Seriously

Wow, Phew, and AHHHH! Boys sure can keep a mom busy!!!
Times are definately busy at our house. Baseball season is here, Parker started this week, and Blake continues to play with his team. Blake is on the Giants team, Parker on the Astros, and how do the Denver nuggets tie in? Well I'll get to that later.....

Blake is doing very well, he is an amazing ball player!
Parker started practice and loves his new coach and team. Things were really crazy tonight as Blake's game was the same time as Parkers practice, I feel like a taxi driver :)

For some odd reason I can't move the picture, so this one I took after all the chaos today, some neighbor boys came down and the kids played a game of "H-O-R-S-E", Lil Austin keeps up with the big boys!! :)

This is Parker's team practicing for next weeks game. Go Astros!!

.....and the Denver Nuggets, Ryan went to the playoff game in Denver tonight.

Ryan at the game

They won!

And here we are, my last picture...This one is for Grandma :)

Watch out Lance Armstrong, Austin is one addicted cyclist-he always wants to be out riding, he is one speedy 'lil man! If he's not out riding his bike, then he's asking me when he can ride his bike next! He's quite entertaining to watch, he is in his own world on his bike :)

Thanks for enduring this post, I'm off to bed, Blake has Olympics tommorow and Opening ceremonies begin in the morning....After that it's piano lessons, tommorow more baseball, soccer game and practice, and......

A tribute to the classic.........Field Trip

This is dedicated to the experienced school volunteer, who can appreciate a field trip :)
I have experienced alot of field trips these past few years, a few things I have learned from experience....BRING EAR PLUGS!! :) Or according to Wendy, drive seperately.
I went with the 1st graders yesterday to the Children's Museum.
First off the teacher assigned my group-Parker picked one friend and I was assigned four others. It was a very ACTIVE group of 3 boys, the 2 girls I had were as sweet and quiet as can be!! :)
Park was so happy to have me there-it was great! He even wanted to sit by me, he's a sweetheart!
Now here is where the ear plugs would come to play, of course I didn't have any.....Gotta love the bus with all the sreaming kids-Priceless!

Here's Park and his buddies-the three Trouble Makers! Gotta love the red vests his group had to wear. Park and "The Wall"

Love that he posed for this one :) He is so cute!
Funny kid, you would've loved this news cast!

After running after my very active group of boys and constantly rounding them up, we packed up and took them to the park. We ate lunch and let the kids play, then back to the bus.
Some more of Park's cute friends.....

Parker sat by me again :) On the ride home, he wanted ear plugs too!
It was fun, and I am glad I went-(Nicole if you want some pics I took a ton, let me know.)
The following is an unpaid ad from Austin!

GO GIANTS!!!!

What handsome boys... GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!

After the many practices, the Giants had their first game tonight! The weather was PERFECT!
Second Baseman-BLAKE!
Kid pitch is really fun to watch! I gave Parker and Austin blue ringpops while they watched Blake play...just wait until you see what Austin looked like after eating it! Ha HA HAA!
Blake knocking one out of the park (almost).
Before I gave them ringpops, Parker and Austin played a little catch with each other, so cute :) oH and my cute husband trying to teach them technique :)
How funny is Austin...............
Here is his BLUE mouth-He's such a character, I wonder where he gets it from?

The Giants didn't win, but they played very well, keep at it Giants!!

G-I-A-N-T-S!!!
