and.......ACTION!!

The cast taking the first bow. Blake's big Play was last night! It was sooo good, not your ordinary elementary production!! This years was

"My Bed is a Boat!"

Everyone did so good!! Blake was "Bad" a good wolf-hilarious character-he did great with his lines and they did a cool glow in the dark dance-only the paws & claws and feet and select parts glowed, it was awesome! I must say that it was the "Favorite" part of the play!! Here are some pics of part of the cast and Blake after play was over.

We loved having Grandma and Grandpa there. Blake missed Grandpa who is still recovering from his heart surgery, but I report that my Dad is doing much better and we have it on DVD for him! Blake had alot of fun! Parker thought he was special because he got to see it twice :) and it took Austin awhile to see Blake all made up, but I can say that my kids sat very quietly and watched the whole two hour production! :)

GIRLS NIGHT OUT! YAY!!

Lisa had the us come and see her new BEAUTIFUL, STUNNING, TOP o' THE LINE house!! It was GORGEOUS! She even made us dinner, LISA you are one in a million- I LOVE YA! SWAK! Anyway, we made aprons, YEAH, we sewed these cute adorable aprons! They all turned out so cute! Anyway, who out there wants to get together, I'm ready for round two (there is never enough "girl" time!)!!

Fun Family Night OUT!

Tonight we took the kids to the Draper Temple Open House. It was long for little ones, but we are glad we did it. I wanted to get some pictures (outside), but their wasn't a place for a photo opp. Afterwards we took the kiddos to "Goodwood BBQ". The food was good. Parker loves food, so he was crackin' us up. He got ribs. . . .you can judge by his face in the attached photos, he didn't even want to stop eating and smile for a picture! Hilarious, we had a great time!

Needless to say...PARKER LOVED IT! As for my picky eaters, it was so so.

OH YEAH...earlier today, I was folding laundry and Austin was watching Backyardigans. I walked out of the laundry room & this is what I saw, Austin watching it upside down (see his little piggies). I was laughing so hard, I had to take a picture. What can I say..he is one little wiggly monkey!

Yay Blake!

Blake made some awesome plays at his Basketball game today! (I forgot to take my camera-I'll do better next week.) He kept on his guy and blocked him well!! He had some great rebounds and scored!! He was on FIRE!! I wish I had my camera!! Good game BLAKE!!

Cooking 101

Today we had cute Caitybug come to play. After her mom dropped her off she walked around the house with a huge smile on her face! =0}

Austin and Caitybug made me some real treats with all the pretend food-which by the way the boys NEVER play with-but Austin did enjoy it today

a Heart mended

I couldn't say it better than my sweet sister (see her blog on side) of the mercies we have recently experienced. My sweet Dad had open heart surgery on Friday. It was so hard to see him after and realize how human my superhero dad was at that time. He looked so broken, but what an outpouring of love came his and our way. I want to thank you all for your prayers and concerns, they were felt.
His surgery went well, they did a Quadruple bypass on his heart. Jen. Matt and Jenica, and I (Scott came after work) went and sat in the waiting room with our loving Mom and played games and kept her company. It was a long surgery and finally got to see him, it was hard to see him, but tonight I went back and he looks so much better, modern medicine is truly amazing! He is up and walking a little, sitting up, and talking. He's almost himself. I am amazed at what the Dr.'s can do. He will be coming home soon because he is doing so well.

Date night

This is for my die hard Jazz fan brothers...Ryan took me to the Jazz game last night, and they won!! I know it was all me, :) no really it was a lot of fun. I had never been in a suite(box) before and they fed us a prime rib dinner with all the trimmings and they even brought us ice cream with all the toppings, it was yummy. I loved getting up and chatting during the game. It was alot of fun! View from the box. We enjoyed complimentary M&M's and we even had out own bathroom in the suite-it ROCKED! Last year Blake got to have a little class and dinner with Milsap and get his shirt autographed and a little ball signed, he is now Blake's favorite player. He played well tonight!
